2004 – 2014 Mitsubishi – MIT17

This is a brand new, aftermarket Mitsubishi Transponder Ignition Key MIT17 (No Logo). To use it, you will need to have it professionally cut and programmed by a local automotive locksmith.

This ignition key contains a chip within the plastic head, which is a critical part of your vehicle’s security system. It is designed to prevent theft, and therefore, you must have it both cut and programmed. Cutting the key alone will not allow you to start the engine.

Warning: A known issue exists with this key (as well as those from other manufacturers). Although the remote head key will work 100% of the time, the standard transponder key will only work 60-80% of the time. There is a possibility that your vehicle might require the purchase of the more expensive remote head key. Use this key at your own risk.
